Dylan Dunlop-Barrett was the only representative from Taranaki at the 2012 Olympics in London as a member of the New Zealand 4x200m relay team. The swimmer, who broke long-standing national records set by Danyon Loader during his career, also won a swag of national and provincial surf life saving titles and represented New Zealand at both age group and open levels.
