Health, Safety and Integrity

Health and Safety

Everyone has a right to a healthy and safe working environment.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 is an opportunity for your sports organisation or club to review your health and safety practices and behaviours and revise how you manage critical risks that could cause illness, injury or  death.

Sport Integrity Commission Te Kahu Raunui

A club or organisation with a strong culture of integrity is safer and fairer for everyone.

The Commission is responsible for setting standards, providing education, and supporting the sector to prevent and address issues like doping, misconduct, and unfair play.

A key plank is the Code of Integrity for Sport and Recreation.  It supports organisations to build a lasting and positive culture of integrity where everyone can do the right thing.
