Callum Taylor won the World Beach Sprint Title six times. He also won a World Beach Flags Title and won the Australian Beach Sprints three times. He was inducted into the New Zealand Surf Life Saving Hall of Fame. In athletics he represented New Zealand over 100m, 200m and 400m He was the New Zealand 400m champion in 1995 and was selected for the 1995 World Championships.
