Will Young was vital to New Zealand’s historic test series whitewash over India in 2024, the first ever by any touring team. He scored 244 runs across three tests at an average of 48.8 and was named Player of the Series. Across formats during the 2024-25 season, Will played 15 ODIs, scoring 430 runs with a century against Pakistan and two half centuries. Domestically, he contributed to Central Districts' T20 title campaign and he gives back to grassroots cricket in Taranaki through the Will Young Trust. New Zealand’s series whitewash of India at home was among the most stunning results in Test history. India had lost just four home test matches in the twelve years prior.
