Graham Mourie MBE (born 8 September 1952) is a former All Black flanker and a respected All Black captain during the late 1970s and early 1980s, captaining the team on their historic Grand Slam tour in 1978. Mourie is Taranaki born, and attended Opunake High School and New Plymouth Boys' High school. Taking a principled stance, he made himself unavailable to play in the 1981 Springbok tour before returning to the captaincy for a tour of Romania and France later the same year. Mourie played 104 games for Taranaki and was later made a Life Member and Patron of the TRFU. He was a pivotal figure setting up the Coastal rugby club in 1995 and has served as an rugby administrator and coach. He coached the Wellington provincial side from 1997-1999 and the Hurricanes from 2000 and 2002.
