Big Bike Film Night - Cycle Chic

Date: Friday 12 May
Time: Doors open at 6.45pm - screening starts at 7.30pm
Venue: 4th Wall Theatre

A collection of short and expressive bike films helping to inspire, encourage and celebrate women who love to bike. Emerging and established filmmakers from the ‘Cycle Chic’ collection, which has a ‘world cinema’ feel with an Urban planner whose big dream is to have a simple cycling lane built in the city (easier said than done as it's in East Africa), a couples’ journey across America by bike where love and adventure come together, a London bike store owner with her unique point of difference, mountain biking in Japan, female bike riders from Melbourne and their fixations with riding fixed gear, and two moving stories on courage and how bikes can empower communities set in South Africa and Afghanistan. Here's to the ladies but both genders will connect with and enjoy this programme of films - if you love to ride then this collection is for you.
