If you love sport and delivery of netball, this job could be ideal for you. 

Netball Taranaki is looking for a part-time Netball Development Officer that will be responsible for the development and delivery of Netball development activities in Taranaki. In partnership with the Netball Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for the facilitation and/or delivery of core services and project-based events. 

The successful applicant will be someone that is enthusiastic, self-motivated, a great communicator, and planner who is organised, able to make decisions, manage change, be trustworthy and demonstrate integrity. Experience in Netball, program delivery and an understanding of the netball pathway and governance is essential. A qualification in Sport and Recreation would be preferred. 

You will need to be available weekdays, evenings and occasional weekends to accommodate the delivery of programs for up to 30 hours per week.

Are you passionate about helping young people become More Active More Often? We are seeking an energetic, fresh thinking and well organised individual to deliver our new ACTIV8 programme. Based at the Sports House, Nelson, this is a 3yr fixed term part time (32 hours per week) position.

The aim of the role is to coordinate and deliver active recreation opportunities to, primarily, young women in the Nelson community, to increase their activity levels and provide quality experiences which enhance their health and well-being. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and communication skills, event and programme development experience and a passion for active recreation. They need to be a real self-starter and have an eye for detail. A qualification in a related field would be desirable.
