CoachForce

CoachForce is a SPARC initiative which focuses on particpation, enabling as many as people as possible access to coaching services through the best local channel. 

Sport Taranaki has four CoachForce Officers who are responsible for implementing SPARC's CoachForce inititative to their specific sports codes.  These codes are Athletics, Basketball, Cricket and Surf Life Saving.  These positions are supported in conjunction with the National Sports Organisations through their Regional Sports Organisations. 

Sport Taranaki's CoachForce Officers support their RSO's by delivering coach development courses and co-ordinating other networking and/or training opportunities for regional coaches.  They support the CoachForce Manager in organising activities to raise coach awareness of the NZ Coaching Strategy within their sport.
