Push Play

 

Push Play is a SPARC funded campaign to encourage more people to be more active, more often.

Just 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week is all it takes to gain health benefits, live longer and feel better.

Push Play is about taking steps to be more active with lifestyle choices such as:

  • using the stairs instead of the lift
  • walking to work or to the shops
  • playing with your children more often
  • throwing a frisbee around with friends and family
  • dancing

But mostly...Push Play is about having FUN!!

               

      

The Push Play activator is here to help you move!  

The Activator is full of ideas to make it a little easier for you to Push Play for 30 minutes a day.  Even with time and money stretched to the limit there are things you can do that cost nothing, and lots of ways to work activity into your current routine.

Remember that it's all about getting going.  So even if you begin by walking for only 5 minutes, as long as you're buidling up to a 30 minute goal, you're doing well.  As soon as you move, you win!
