One of the services Sport Taranaki offers the Taranaki region is the Active Equipment Library (AEL).
The AEL was established over ten years ago to assist those organisations across Taranaki that lacked access to sport and recreational equipment. It has been designed to offer fully inclusive equipment which allows groups to access equipment they cannot afford or otherwise have access to.
The AEL is available for any community group to utilise with a one-off lifetime membership fee of only $30 (incl gst).
To utilise the Active Equipment Library all you need to do is follow this process:
- Join the AEL by downloading the Membership Application Form from Page Links and sending this (with payment) to Sport Taranaki. Alternatively, contact Heather at Sport Taranaki (details below)
- Send payment of $30 to Sport Taranaki
- Always book the equipment well in advance so to avoid disappointed by its unavailability
- Arrange for the equipment to be picked up from Sport Taranaki
- After your event, drop the equipment back to Sport Taranaki
(NB. A charge will be met by your organisation if equipment is damaged or lost)
