| UPDATE |
| Under Page Links is the Taranaki Kiwisport RPF Model which explains the three priority areas that have been identified by Sport Taranaki as where to best invest the Kiwisport funding in our region. This model was developed from the consultation and prioritisation process that was undertaken to investigate how best to deliver the Kiwisport objectives in Taranaki. |

| Sport Taranaki's Board of Trustees approved the model, the community were given opportunity to comment on the model and the proposal has now been sent to SPARC. The community will be communicated to once SPARC have approved the proposal. |

Kiwisport is a government funding initiative to support sport for school-aged children. Kiwisport provides funding for year 1-8 students and year 9-13 students via the Ministry of Education and community projects (via funding received by Sport Taranaki from SPARC) to achieve the following aims:
- To increase the number of school-aged children participating in organised sport
- To increase the availability and accessibility of sport opportunities for all school-aged children
- To support children in developing skills that will enable them to participate effectively in sport.
